Established in 2009 by its founder, Abigail Butler recognised that many women were lacking in confidence with the way their hair looked or suffered with some form of hair loss, as a result of having thin or fine hair. It became apparent this was a common problem amongst women and unfortunately many hair salons only offered limited services that weren’t specific to these needs. Wanting to make a difference, Abigail used her wealth of knowledge and expertise to bring something new to the high street, largely specialising in a variety of hair extension services and hair loss solutions. Seizing this opportunity Abigail set about using her gift in hair extensions to help women not only look good but feel and be the best version of themselves, regaining confidence that was once lost.
And that was when Strictly Xtended was born. As the name suggests, we strictly extend… we extend advice, 1st class pre and aftercare, superior customer service and of course, WE XTEND YOUR HAIR!

We are a tribe of highly skilled hair extension specialists. Based in Bishop’s Stortford, we have a combination of 30 years experience in the hairdressing industry. As recognised experts in hair extensions, we believe it’s important they are fitted not just by hair extension technicians, but by those who are qualified hairdressers. This is important for clients to feel assured that they are being cared for by professionals with in-depth understanding of healthy hair care, who have developed skills in all areas of hairdressing.
At Strictly Xtended all of our hair extensionists are dedicated to leading the industry in offering the correct application of hair extensions, effective maintenance advice and aftercare, demonstrating that extensions shouldn’t damage your hair.

Your hair extensions consultation will include an informative discussion with a written quotation and advice on the most suitable method, hair type and length for you. Free test extensions are available and it is recommended clients use this service prior to having their hair extensions applied.
